When planning your wedding it’s good to have an idea about you want. But more to the point staying true to yourselves and including all of your favourite things on one of the most magical days of your life. This is exactly what Sara and Holly did for their special day.
Holly and Sara first contacted us via our website back in 2016. They were looking to serve their guests ice cream after the speeches and make the most of the beautiful courtyard at their venue Upwaltham Barn near Chichester. Most importantly they wanted Banana ice cream as one of their flavour choices as it’s Holly’s favourite flavour of all time!
We managed to work with our lovely suppliers to get the Banana ice cream for their special day and they decided to book our retro ice cream trike.
We got to meet Holly, Sara and some of their family at a couple of the open days Upwaltham Barns hold every spring. This gave them the opportunity to sample some of their chosen flavours and to ask any questions they had about how things would work on the day.
In what felt like a blink of an eye the 2nd of June 2017 rolled around and it was time to help Sara and Holly celebrate with the help of Vinnie’s Vintage Vehicles, who provided their wedding transport. As well as Nibbles 2 Nosh the resident caterers at Upwaltham Barns and Kevin Watkins their chosen wedding photographer.
Guests were the first out to start deciding on their chosen iced treat and soon followed the happy newlyweds for their highly anticipated Banana ice cream. Everybody enjoyed their ice creams served in crispy cones and cute individual tubs.
Sara and Holly even sent us this delightful Thank You card after their wedding to tell us how much they had appreciated our hard work in making sure we delivered a personal service for them and their guests.
